This is a project chronicling thoughts and events from Dec. 2014-9/28/16. Sonically, genres like Alternative, Chillwave, lo-fi and such are incorporated into the music while the core of it still remains hip-hop. The strong use of lyricism and melodies carries the points and emotions he is trying to get across.

Question : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Answer : I'm a musician who goes by the stage name Young Drastic
Question : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Answer : The passing of my grandmother inspired me to get into music for the sake of an outlet. No one really inspired me to get into the industry itself. I just always thought that came with the gig if you take your musical career seriously
Question : Tell us about your recent album 'Popular Unpopular' ?
Answer : It's an album that gives an in-depth look at thoughts and events I've dealt with from December 2014 to September 28th, 2016 (My 21st birthday). Sonically, it takes influences from many genres or time periods. Some tracks have an 80's feel, some have more of a Punk or Alternative feel.
Question : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Answer : So far, I have received a postive response. So right now, everything is good.
Question : Any particular track of the Album that's your favorite ?
Answer : It might be a 3-way tie between 21, Legendary, and Anti-Hero
Question : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Answer : I think I'm becoming more and more introverted so working in studios brings along a good sense of comfortability
Question : What's your favorite music genre?
Answer : It depends on the day. One day, it could be more Jazz-influenced Hip-Hop like Nujabes. Some days, it could be Rap like XV.
Question : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Answer : I have some goals set as far as where I want to go musically as well as goals as far as touring goes. If we're talking about general life goals, living somewhere like Japan or somewhere nice in Cali would be tight.
Question : Are you working on any new project?
Answer : I have a few projects in the stash and a few collab projects I want to knock out this summer. Also, I'm in the very early stages of work on the next album. So yeah, I guess I have a bit going on.
